Instructions for the refund of your deposit

As already specified in the Welcome Guide signed at the same time of your Leasing Contract, in order to close your file, you must provide :

 

1. Your Bank Account Details

 

Please provide an official bank document (PDF, JPG or PNG) showing your bank account information, issued by your bank or downloaded directly from your online banking app.​

Your document must include :

• Name of the bank​

• Address of the bank

• Account holder's name

• Account holder's address (linked to this account)

• Account number

• IBAN or BBAN

• SWIFT - BIC Code

 

⚠️ Do not copy/paste your bank details into the email.

Only official bank documents will be accepted. If you fail to provide an official document, a processing fee will be applied:

• 7,70 € for SEPA zone transfers

• 13,10 € for international wire transfers

🚫 As of to date, transfers through intermediary banks and in the following countries are not allowed :

CUBA, IRAN, NORTH KOREA, SUDAN, SYRIA, CRIMEA/SEVASTOPOL, RUSSIA.

Transfers to Canadian accounts are discouraged.

✅ We strongly recommend using French, Revolut, or Wise accounts for faster and cheaper processing.

​

If you were in a flatshare :
Please confirm whether the deposit needs to be split between roommates, and provide each tenant’s bank details if applicable.

​2. Your Signed Exit Inspection

 

Your exit inspection (état des lieux de sortie) must be signed in order to close your file.
No refund can be processed without this document.

3. Your Forwarding Address

 

For administrative purposes only, if different from the one noted on your leasing contract).

Please send all required informations and documents to

deposits@mbahousing.fr 

within the 15 days after reception of your exit inspection

Your file will not be processed until all requested information has been received. *

Failing this, your file closure will be delayed.

* If you have received a breakdown asking you the missing informations, once you provide them,

your file will be processed depending of the waiting list.
